Uliuli Wai Shawl from Needlecraft Cottage - Done!

It's beautiful!

Worth the wait and effort?  Absolutely!  See for yourself.  Light and lacy, with just enough loft to make it seasonless. And oh, the color...there just aren't words.

I want to run out and buy a dress to show it off (the awards ceremony gown doesn't match at all, sadly).

People always ask me "How is it that your shawl always matches your outfit so perfectly?"  The answer is that my outfit always matches my shawl.  I need the perfect outfit to match this stunner for sure.

The camera can't do the color justice, but here are a few more shots to show it off anyway.

A memorable project to be sure.  Thanks, Needlecraft Cottage!  Stay tuned--next up I tackle the Celtic Princess cable scarf from Yarn and Thread Expressions.

I love that color. Very delicate design. I envy knitters, I no talent in that area.

Stunning and that deep vivid shade of blue is one of my favorites! I wish I had more need of shawls here in Texas . . . I hardly ever get to wear mine. You'll have to post a photo when you get an outfit to go with the shawl!

I have no words. It's absolutely beautiful, Allie. How long did it take you to make. Such an intricate pattern! Love the color.

Lynne-
The color is spectacular, isn't it? That's where Baah yarns really shines--deep, gorgeous colors.

Linda-
I find I need shawls in hot climates when the air conditioning gets too cold. The right laceweight shawl is perfect to go over bare shoulders.

Pam-
It took several weeks of very dedicated knitting! A lot of effort, but a great payoff.
